Best Face Packs And Masks For Oily And Acne-Prone Skin

1. Honey And Lemon Juice

Honey has antimicrobial properties that help to minimize acne, Lemon has an astringent effect on your skin.

You Will Need

  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • ½ teaspoon of diluted lemon juice

Method

  1. Mix both the ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Spread the mixture all over the face, focusing on the problem areas.
  3. Leave it on for 15-minutes
  4. Wash off and pat your skin dry.
  5. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

2. Turmeric And Honey Face Pack

Both turmeric and honey have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects on the skin. These ingredients are widely used in Ayurveda for their healing effects.

You Will Need

  • 1 tablespoon of organic honey
  • ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder

Method

  1. Mix the honey and turmeric in a bowl to make a paste.
  2. Apply the paste all over your face or just the problem areas.
  3. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes and then wash it off.
  4. Repeat this 3 times a week.

3. Tea Tree Oil And Clay Face Mask

You Will Need

  • 1-2 tablespoons of clay (Multani mitti, Bentonite clay, or any other clay)
  • 2-3 drops of tea tree oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons of water or rose water (for mixing purpose)

Method

  1. Mix the clay and water or rosewater in a bowl. Adjust the consistency as per your convenience.
  2. Add the tea tree oil to the paste and mix well.
  3. Apply the mixture on your face or just the problem areas. Let it dry.
  4. Wash it off.
  5. Repeat 2-3 times a week.

    4. Oatmeal And Honey Face Mask

    Oatmeal has anti-inflammatory effects, is rich in antioxidants, and helps in relieving many dermatological conditions (5). Honey has an antimicrobial effect, and it prevents acne and keeps your skin healthy and moisturized.

    You Will Need

    • 1 tablespoon of oats (powdered)
    • 2 tablespoons of organic honey
    • 1 tablespoon of water, rose water, or milk (for mixing the ingredients)

    Method

    1. Mix the ingredients in a bowl.
    2. Apply it on your face and neck.
    3. Leave it for 15-20 minutes.
    4. Wash it off with warm water.
    5. Repeat 2-3 times a week.
